In 2011, a well known writer on spiritual teachers, wrote a seminal article on the false complaints in Israel. She is well known for her integrity around these issues, and her article was well researched, based on an extensive review of the email records between Marc and the two primary complainants.

The article was published as part of her book on Spiritual teachers. Donna Zerner, a former associate of Marc’s and primary supporter of the false complaints, contacted the publishing house to pressure it into withdrawing the book which contained an account of the past complaints. A full discussion of Donna’s relationship to Marc and her possible hidden motives is posted on the site.

It was against that backdrop that a wildly exaggerated and distorted story about Marc’s relationships with two powerful adult women during 2011 exploded on the internet.
